Rhinoplasty is a procedure performed to change the shape and appearance of your nose. This procedure can be done for cosmetic reasons as well as for medical purposes such as to improve a person’s breathing.
What to Expect
In primary rhinoplasty, the patient has never gone surgery and the anatomy of the nose is not yet touched. It is a shorter procedure and usually takes only 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Side effects vary depending on the patient but swelling and bruises usually occur. A protective cast on the nose is applied during the first week. You will be advised to east soft foods in the first few weeks.
